On the second day of the work shop, we have learned a lot of kudzu history and other kinds of bast fibers in Japan.

Shina-fu and Basho-fu obi(s)

A study session: These are Shina-fu and Basho-fu obi(s), you can compare the diferrence between various bast fiber cloths.


These bobbins are called “Tsuguri”. We will make later our own bobbins from Kudzu vines, we harvested on the first day.
